For walk-in barbershops
Keep the walk-ins. Lose the queue.
Queue Swerve holds each customer's place while they wait wherever they like, then rings their phone when it's their turn.
For walk-in barbershops
Queue Swerve holds each customer's place while they wait wherever they like, then rings their phone when it's their turn.
First name and mobile on your shop iPad, or the barber adds them from their phone. Nobody downloads anything.
Coffee next door, the car, the bench. Your waiting screen shows first names and the last three digits of each mobile. No wait times on show.
Queue Swerve rings the customer with your own recorded message. Miss the call and a text follows. The chair is never empty for long.
The waiting screen and the barber station work together. Call someone, bump someone down a place, add a walk-in.

Live demo with made-up customers. Nothing is sent.
People nip out, regulars turn up early, someone is always running late. The barber sorts all of it in a tap, from the phone in their pocket.
Stuck at the cash machine? Move them down one and they're next when they walk back in.
Called someone who's still out? Press Not here yet: they drop one place and the next person is called, so the chair never sits waiting.
Put a friend or a regular in the line from your phone, even before they're through the door.
Customers grab a coffee or sit in the car. Their place is held until you call.
A text goes out when they're nearly up, then their phone rings with your recorded message when it's time.
Every barber has their own line, plus one for whoever's free first. Each barber sees their own times.
If most of your trade walks in, a booking app is the wrong shape. Here's how the three ways of running a Saturday compare.
| What you need | Paper list or bench | Most booking apps | Queue Swerve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Holds a walk-in's place while they pop out | Only if they stay in the shop | Built for appointments, not a live line | Yes. If they're not back when called, they drop one place |
| Tells them when they're up | You shout their name | Appointment reminders | A heads-up text, then a call with your message |
| Shows the line on a screen | No | Not usually | First names and last three digits only |
| Works for people without a smartphone | Yes | They need to book online | Yes, the barber adds them in seconds |
| Builds a list you can win customers back from | No | From bookings | Only customers who ticked the offers box |

No. They give a first name and mobile number on your shop iPad, or scan the poster by the door and join from their own phone. Everything after that happens by phone call or text, and they can watch their place in the line on their phone.
A tablet or iPad for sign-ups, and any screen with a web browser for the waiting screen customers see: a smart TV, a TV with a streaming stick, an old tablet or a laptop. Each barber uses the phone already in their pocket.
They can queue on a friend's or family member's mobile: up to three people can share one number. Otherwise they wait in the shop as they always have and you call their name.
Up to 300 alerts a month are included in the £25. You choose what happens after that: carry on at 6p a call or text, or pause alerts until next month while customers follow their place on their phone. Your back office shows how many you've used, and we warn you at 80%.
First names and the last three digits of each mobile, so people can spot themselves. No full numbers and no wait times. Times only show on the barber's own screen.
Only the ones who tick the offers box when they sign in. Every offers text says who it's from and how to opt out, and opt-outs are honoured automatically.
